A Garden of Color, Stitched With Grace- Quilt Pattern Design.

I’m so excited to introduce my newest quilt pattern — Petals Afield! This design blends the timeless beauty of Dresden plates with the clean, modern look of strip piecing. It’s beginner-friendly but offers enough interest for experienced quilters, too.

The pattern includes three sizes: baby (36×36), small throw (54×54), and large throw (54×72) — perfect for gifting, snuggling, or brightening up a space.

What makes this pattern extra fun? It comes with a printable Dresden template, so no specialty ruler is needed. You’ll also get clear, step-by-step instructions and helpful diagrams to guide you through cutting, piecing, and assembling each block.

I’ve also added a coloring pages to help you plan your fabric pull. Whether you’re drawn to bold florals, earthy tones, or soft pastels, Petals Afield adapts beautifully to a variety of styles. Check out @fieldsofpatchwork on Instagram for lots of inspiration.
