History Repeats Itself Free Year Long Quilt Series

Sharing is caring!

Hello Quilters!

I’m excited to share a new adventure with you all – History Repeats Itself, a FREE year long quilt series that will take you through classic quilt blocks, one week at a time. Whether you’re a seasoned quilter or just starting out, this is the perfect opportunity to expand your skills, learn something new, and have a blast while making a beautiful quilt.

What’s This Quilt Along All About?

This Quilt Along is all about bringing together timeless block patterns while diving into the rich history behind each design. As we work through the blocks, I’ll be sharing the fascinating stories behind their origins and giving you a deeper connection to the art of quilting. Each block will teach you a new technique, and by the end, you’ll have a finished quilt full of history, skill, and love!

The best part? It’s scrap and fat quarter friendly! I’m using “Bee Haven” fat quarter bundle from Benartex fabrics. Follow Jill @miss_jilly_quilts, Andrea @andrealeehandmande, and Ligia @dearlyquilted to see their use of scrap fabrics! I can’t wait to see how your unique fabric choices come together!

When Does it Start?

The Quilt Along officially kicks off in January 2026. We’ll begin with the Nine Patch block – a classic that has stood the test of time and is perfect for quilters of all levels.

Each week after that, we’ll introduce a new block, and I’ll be guiding you through each step – from the history of the block to how to create it yourself. It’s going to be a fun and educational journey, and I’d love for you to join in!
