The first wash is when the magic happens! ✨ Those The first wash is when the magic happens! ✨

Those clipped seams begin to soften, fray, and create the cozy texture that makes rag quilts so special.

A few tips to make that first wash easier:

🧺 Wash separately the first time
🧺 Add a couple towels to help catch loose threads
🧺 Check your lint trap often (rag quilts create A LOT of lint!)

Save this for when your rag quilt is ready for its first wash! 💛

I still can’t believe these quilts all came from t I still can’t believe these quilts all came from the same pattern! 🤩

One of my favorite parts of the pattern testing process is seeing how each quilter brings their own creativity and style to a design.

Different fabrics.
Different colors.
Different personalities.

And somehow... they all create something completely unique. 💛

I am so grateful for my amazing pattern testers who helped bring Frayed & Found to life!
