One of my all-time favorite quilts I’ve made 💕
This Bargello design still makes me smile every time I pull it out. I made it years ago, and the sunshine and warmth in this photo have me longing for summer in a big way ☀️

I also spent some time plant shopping in Amish Country this week and came home with lots of inspiration for future quilt patterns 🌿🌸🧵 I’m always inspired by the shapes, colors, and textures that grow all summer long in the garden, and I already have ideas brewing for new designs.

Now I’m just hoping for warmer weather so I can finally get planting next week! 🌱

From thrift flip to wearable quilted fashion ✂️🧵✨

For this project featuring @benartex_fabrics, I challenged myself to use the A Prairie’s Heart @katiedaisy_artist fat quarter bundle in creative ways beyond traditional quilting — and the results might be some of my favorite makes yet.

🩵 $5 thrifted jean jacket transformed with quilted sleeves- self drafted
🩵 Patchwork jeans made with 2.5” squares + repurposed denim (inspired by @tulipanoriginals)
🩵 A ruffled patchwork collar to finish the look (@kyla.something)

My goal was simple: use what I had, waste as little as possible, and prove quilting can live anywhere — even in your closet.

And the best part? I STILL have fabric left for more projects 👀

Just for the record... my neighbors think I've lost it. Taking pictures on my front porch was all kinds of awkward... but the clothes really are so stinking cute!!! I'm giving serious thought to selling some upcycled clothing... thoughts?✨
